Since fall 2010, Freie Universität Berlin is running a master's program in futures studies at the Institut Futur. This program is supported by numerous members of the Netzwerk Zukunftsforschung. For example, Prof. Reinhold Popp and Karlheinz Steinmüller give lectures on the methodology of futures studies. More information about the Master's programme can be found on a special website of the Institut Futur. After almost a decade, the outcome is absolutely convincing: Many of the alumni have found positions in departments charged with foresight tasks, as well in companies as in the administrations. Some even have founded their own start-up.
